Free Phone Consultation
Finding a therapist that is the right fit for you can sometimes be a daunting task. I like to make this process a little easier by providing a free 20-minute phone consultation to explore if we are the right fit prior to committing to working together. If it turns out we fit, fabulous! And if it turns out the fit isn't quite right, this consultation will also aid me in directing you to another clinician or agency who might be more appropriate for your needs. To schedule a consultation, please contact me via email at ninafirooztherapy@gmail.com. I respond to consultation/new client requests on Fridays each week. I look forward to speaking with you!
Individual Sessions
Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length: $180.00
Occasionally for clients who are being treated with EMDR, we will have 90 minute desensitization sessions. These sessions cost $270.00.
All sessions are currently Telehealth sessions. Updates about returning to in-person sessions (for California residents) will be posted here.
Couples and Family Sessions
Initial Couples and Family sessions are 90-minutes in length: $270.00
All Couples & Family sessions thereafter are 50 minutes in length: $180.00
The purpose of the initial 90-minute session length is to provide the appropriate amount of time to gather enough information to co-create a thorough treatment plan for all members involved in therapy.
Sliding Scale Fees
I offer a sliding scale fee to at least 50% of my caseload in order to make mental health accessible to as many people as possible. This is on a case-by-case basis, based upon financial need. If I cannot meet your financial needs, I am more than happy to provide you with lower-fee agency options as well as other clinicians that will fit your needs.
For clients who are able to pay my full fee, please know that your ability to do so helps others who are less able to do so and by doing so, you are contributing to the growth of others.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance plans directly, however upon request I can provide you with a monthly statement, a.k.a. 'Superbill', of services rendered that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Before embarking upon this option, I encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to get details about your coverage plan and their policies regarding Superbills.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:
-
What is my out-of-network deductible?
-
How much of my out-of-network deductible has already been met?
-
How do I submit for reimbursement?
-
What is my coinsurance or reimbursement rate?
I recommend that you do this prior to scheduling a consult (with me or with another mental health provider) so that you can be armed with all of the information you need prior to finding the right person for you.
